Recent 3-6 months of statements on bank letterhead, with consistent balance. We do not provide a downloadable statement — request one from your bank.

Print the confirmation page after submitting Form DS-160 online. Required at the interview along with your passport and photo.

Unlike Schengen, the United States does not require travel medical insurance for B1/B2 visa applicants. Coverage is strongly recommended for the trip.

U.S. consulates explicitly state that invitation letters and Affidavits of Support are not required and are not used as factors in the decision. Bringing them does not improve your application.
